Premier Night Running Event
Chennai Night Run 2026 is a premier road running event that celebrates fitness, community, and the vibrant spirit of Chennai under the city lights.
Chennai Night Run is an initiative by Velveteen Experiences and the Tamil Nadu Athletic Association, under the aegis of the Athletics Federation of India (AFI) and World Athletics. The event is designed to promote healthy living while providing participants with a Professionally Managed, Internationally Aligned running experience in the night.

Sports Tamilnadu Anti Drug Day Run 2026 where the
Hon Chief Minister of Tamilnadu,
Thiru C Joseph Vijay flagged of the event and ran the event too.
Federal Bank Kochi Marathon
Velveteen Experiences partially owns the Intellectual Property
Federal Bank Kochi Marathon which started in 2023 and one of
the most fastest developing Running Event in South of India.
International Sporting Events
Apart from Running events, Velveteen Experiences manages
other International sporting events, To name a few was the
Chennai Formula 4 Street Night Race (2023) and the
Junior World Cup Mens Hockey Tournament in Chennai and
madurai (2025)
Tamil Nadu Athletic Federation
Velveteen Experience is happy to be associated with the
Tamilnadu Athletic Federation, which is the body that
recognise and set guidelines for long distance running
and other running events in the state of Tamilnadu and
Chennai Night Run will be monitored and followed by the
Federation and ensure all the parameters are met for the
Chennai Night Run.
World Athletics Certification
Chennai Night Run route to be measured and certified
by the World Athletics Authorities.
